Are there any industries in which you won't lend?
This list may change from time to time but as of now the only industry we aren’t lending to is hotels.
Do you have any geographic limitations?
Nope, we fund SBA 504 loans nationwide.
Will you fund construction projects?
Yes, we regularly provide Interim loans to finance renovations and/or ground up construction. However, our objective when funding construction loans is to end up with the permanent loan as well.
How long does it take to get an approval?
It depends on where the CDC is in their underwriting process. In cases where there is a CDC credit memo that can be shared or an SBA approval is in place, we can usually have a commitment to lend within 24 hours.
Do you fund the Interim Loan?
Yes, we fund the interim loan for all of our SBA 504 projects.
What are the advantages of being a non-bank TPL?
As a non-bank TPL we have flexibility other traditional lenders don’t have. We also have the ability to work quickly and provide CDCs with fast turnarounds on loan approvals.
What is your experience with 504 lending?
Our firm has been funding 504 loans since 2018 and our team consists of people who have worked for CDCs and/or been board members for CDCs.
Do you fund loans with your own capital?
Yes, we we have a $100 million private fund dedicated to SBA 504 lending only.
Will you pay referral fees to brokers?
Yes, if you have a deal that was brought to you by a loan broker, we are always open to working with them.
Will you accept 3rd party reports ordered by another bank?
Most of the time we will accept existing 3rd party reports. In cases of special use real estate we will sometimes need to order our own report.
